James Harrell

About Me

James Harrell is a senior at Flora High School. He was a three-year member of the Flora Wolves Basketball Team and is a high honor roll student. Outside of school, James runs a lawn care service business and has worked at Walmart for almost two years. Some of his hobbies are playing the guitar and spending time with family and friends. His plans are to attend SIUE with a major in accounting. He hopes the CEO program will expose him to new opportunities in the business world.

About My Business

Harrell Lawn Care is a small business that I have operated for three years. I mow lawns and complete landscaping jobs for customers who ask for my service. The strategy that has worked best for me in the past is to find the smaller yards that are close together and take fifteen to twenty minutes to mow. That allows me to make the most money per hour. Also, I have a few employees that help out and that strategy allows me to still make money off of my yards if I have them mow and I go do landscaping jobs.
