Jackie Akers

Jackie Akers graduated from Eastern Illinois University with a degree in Elementary Education.  In 2005, she began working for North Clay Unit #25 as a reading/language arts teacher.  During her tenure, she also earned her master's degree in Teacher Leadership from the University of Illinois, Springfield, IL.  Working in the field of education for the past 18 years has been a journey of stepping stones that have led her to the facilitator position for the new Clay County CEO program.  Jackie is especially excited to work with motivated students helping them practice life skills that will serve them well regardless of the path they choose.
