Our visit to Legacy Harley-Davidson was an exciting and memorable experience for the CEO class. Many students had never been to a Harley dealership before, so exploring the facility and learning about the business firsthand made a strong impression.

We were hosted by Clint Kuhns, who shared valuable insight into both the motorcycle industry and general business principles. One of his key messages was that everyone in a business must be a salesperson—a mindset that applies to any entrepreneur. He emphasized that success comes from being able to clearly present and sell your brand, no matter what you’re offering.

Another standout takeaway was Clint’s advice to “find a way to solve someone’s problem.” He encouraged us to think of our businesses as solutions to customers’ needs, which is a powerful way to build trust and drive success.

During the tour, we got to see the entire facility—from the service and detailing areas to the parts storage and the retail showroom. The store itself was impressive, filled with motorcycles, gear, and branded apparel. At the end of the visit, we even got to sit on some of the bikes for a group photo and were gifted a Harley-Davidson t-shirt.

Overall, the visit was both fun and educational, leaving us with practical lessons and inspiration to apply to our own businesses.
