On March 18, the CEO class traveled to Louisville to visit Blair’s Slaughtering and Processing. We took a tour through their facility, where we viewed their cutting, refrigerating, and storage systems used in order to work efficiently on a day to day basis. As Blair’s favors family oriented business, they do a great job at tending to the community whether that be through their general processing products or giving back to the youth through 4-H auctions or donations. We loved getting to see the ins and outs of how the meat industry works and we are grateful to have had this opportunity.
