This week, our class had the opportunity to hear from Brenda and Brian Streif, the proud owners of Streif's Country Market. Brenda and Brian spoke to us about how the business works, what steps they have to take in order to keep it running from year to year, and the importance of connecting with the community.

My favorite part of the visit was visiting with the ostriches and getting to learn about how they are taken care of throughout their lives. I learned that owning a season-based business also requires a ton of work and dedication throughout the offseason.
