This week, our class had the opportunity to hear from Clint Holkenbrink, the Marketing and Residential Sales Supervisor for Wabash Communications CO-OP. Clint talked to us about what a cooperative entails and what Wabash does for our community.

My favorite takeaway was when we did an icebreaker activity with candies showing us the difference between a cooperative and a corporate business. I learned that co-ops are owned and run by the people they serve. I also loved how Clint reminded us that if you’re not failing, you’re not learning. Staying up with trends in his career field also caught my attention because it is important in many avenues of careers.

Thank you, Clint Holkenbrink and Wabash Communications, for taking time to share your experiences with us and investing in our CEO program!
