This week, Clay County CEO had the opportunity to visit Megan Pierson at the Clay County Extension Office while she shared a personality assessment with us, Real Colors.

She guided us through the Real Colors book to help us figure out if we fall into the color category of Gold, Blue, Orange, or Green. All of these colors represent a different personality type, and Megan explained to all of us the differences between personalities in the color categories and how we can use those to understand ourselves and each other better.

Personally, I think having your personality explained was very validating, and being grouped with people similar to you to discuss and analyze that was very eye-opening. We found out our class is pretty evenly diverse, and we learned a lot more about each other’s ways of thinking and how to implement that into working together and bonding as the year continues.

Thank you, Megan, for taking the time to make this experience fun and easy for us to understand!
