We were excited to welcome Paris Ring, a Clay County CEO alumna, back to class to share her insights on public speaking and introducing guest speakers.

Because Paris has been through the CEO experience herself, she was able to give our students a firsthand look at the benefits this program can bring throughout the year.

One piece of advice that really resonated with the class was her acronym POISE:

P – Posture
O – Own your words
I – Intentionality
S – Stay composed
E – Engage your audience

Such a simple reminder, but such an important one as our students continue developing their confidence and professionalism.
