Our class traveled to Turkey Knob Farm this morning to hear from owner, Penny Arnold. She talked about her property and how the buildings were all built by hand with the help of her family. All of her advice and her story were very inspiring.

She mentioned we should, “Learn to do things, and at least learn to try.” She followed it with, “If you’re willing to work hard, it will pay off in the end.” Additionally, a piece of advice she really wanted us to remember was, “You cannot be afraid to fail.” These words were so enlightening for our class to take in. It was also eye-opening to hear that her farm is her hobby, not just a job. You can tell that she so deeply loves her life and what she does.

The farm is absolutely a Hallmark movie come to life. Our class really enjoyed feeding the animals crackers and taking a wagon ride. Thank you, Penny, Turkey Knob Farm , for sharing your morning and treats with us!
