Our CEO class had a great time this week as we met the CEO of Southeastern Illinois Community Foundation, Alex Pleasant. As our fiscal agent for the CEO program, Alex talked to us about how to start a non-profit charity. One thing Alex said that stuck out to the group was, " Your hometown is a museum of people's passionate ideas." Every business, every organization, every community initiative started with someone's passionate idea. To build up our communities, those ideas must continue to build!
