One thing that makes CEO special is that our class is never held in a traditional classroom. We change "home bases" each quarter, meeting once or twice a week at real businesses where we also host guest speakers.
This quarter, Flora Banking Company (The Clay City Banking Company) has been serving as our home base, and we just had an incredible behind-the-scenes experience! Our CEO class met with President Herb Henson, who shared his inspiring journey in banking and explained the vital importance of small-town banking to our communities.
With the assistance of branch manager, Brittany Thompson, Mr. Henson gave us an exclusive tour of the bank and showed us how banking operations really work from the inside.
Thank you, Herb Henson, for taking the time out of your day to speak to Clay County CEO. We greatly appreciate it!
