Haven Cash is currently enrolled as a Senior at North Clay High School. Throughout high school, Haven has been involved in FFA, 4-H, Clay County 4-H Federation, FCCLA, Business Club, Student Council, Spanish Club, Pep Club, Educators for Tomorrow, Refinery, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Crossroad Thunder Volleyball Club, and her high school volleyball team. Within FFA, she is currently serving on the Illinois Association FFA State Officer Team as the Section 23 President. A few other awards she has received through the FFA organization are her Illinois State FFA Degree, Top 10 Chapter Reporter, and the Chapter Community Service award two years in a row for her over 200 hours of community service. She enjoys everything involving journalism and communications, so she has made an effort to write several articles for the Clay County Republican, ffa.org (http://ffa.org/), and manage social media accounts for varying clubs and organizations while also being involved in her school's podcast show, The Cardinal Chirp. In her free time, she enjoys staying active and spending time worshipping God. After high school, Haven plans to attend a 4-year university to major in Agronomy with a minor in Agricultural Communications. While setting up college plans, she is currently working towards her American FFA Degree, the highest achievable degree within the FFA organization. Through her time spent in the CEO program, she hopes to network within the community and carry the skills and advice she learns with her through all of her future endeavors.
